Tracking Downloads of Collateral

Most pick ups of a collateral asset by partner users are tracked in Unifyr and can be reported on. These actions are logged as a download:

• Clicking the Download button for an asset in Browse Collateral

  

• Clicking the Download Selected or Download All buttons in collateral programs or campaigns

  

• Using an asset’s URL, as copied with the Copy to Clipboard button in Browse Collateral

  

• Clicking a link you've provided to the asset in a custom page, e.g. from a button

  Download is tracked from here provided you generated the link to the asset in one of these ways:

  • Logged in to the portal and used Copy Link to Clipboard to get the URL

  • Entered the URL manually in this format {portal url}/#/collateral/{collateral ID}?log=true, when configuring the button in the page. For more information about creating buttons, see Content/Formatting/Display Options for Supplier-Created Content > Button Options.

These statistics are updated for the asset as well:

• Most Recent Download date is updated when a download occurs on a new day
• Partners with Downloads count is incremented if it's the first download by a user from that partner

These actions aren't tracked:

• Clicking the Preview button for the asset

  

• Previewing the asset, and downloading it using native browser (non-Unifyr) functionality
