(Unifyr Enterprise only)
You can define a custom footer using the editor. You can add links to popular social media sites or add code for Google Analytics, to track partner portal traffic.
This procedure assumes that you have previously created the site.
- Navigate to Partner Portal > Site Configuration.
- Click the site to edit if you have more than one site.
- Click Settings.
- Select Footer in the left navigation bar.
-
In the WYSIWYG editor, you can pull in any of the available content blocks to create your footer.
-
Add Merge Tags (dynamic content placeholders) to the text-based blocks to personalize the footer for your partners.
Merge tags representing custom Partner and Partner User fields are identified with a Partner - or Partner User - prefix, as applicable.
Pro Tip: We recommend that you add the Current Year merge tag so the partner portal automatically updates the displayed year on an annual basis.
Note: Merge tags representing custom Partner User fields are added to content with the syntax {{portaluser.field_name}}, for example {{portaluser.Preferred_Communication_Language}}.
-
Add links to the pages in your portal - use the Special links menu when editing text-based blocks.
-
Add links to other content such as a list of your most recent portal posts or a Unifyr collateral asset - use the More menu when editing text-based blocks.
- You can also add links to your social media accounts, the privacy policy, terms & conditions, or tracking.
For information about the options available in the WYSIWYG editor, see Create/Edit Custom Pages.
-
- In Translations, you can add translations of your footer. For more information, see About Translations.
-
To view a list of changes that have been made to the footer, click Options > View History.
A list of versions of the footer displays. You can click on any of the available versions to restore one as the current version.
If the user provided a comment in the What did you change? field when updating the footer, this is given as additional information for the version.
- Click Save.
