You can include a link to a collateral asset or other web content (web plugin or landing page) in a marketing email.

  1. Navigate to Partner Marketing > Emails.
  2. Find the email whose content you want to update, and click on it to open it for edit.
  3. Click Edit Content.
  4. Highlight the area in the object’s content to which you want to add the link, for example a Read the Case Study button, or place your cursor in the relevant place in text.
  5. Find the Link to marketing content option. You’ll find the option in two areas, depending on the type of link you’re configuring:

Link from button - in the Action section of the Content panel on the right hand side

Text link - in the text formatting panel

  6. Go to the Library Content or Web Content tab, as applicable.
  7. Find the object you want to link, and click on it.
  8. The link is added:
    • Button link - the link is shown in the Action panel. Use the panel to format it.
    • Text link - the link is added directly to the content. You can click on Insert/edit link icon_link_image.png to format it.
  9. Click Save or Save and Close.

Note

If you have linked a web content object (such as a microsite or landing page) to an email and added that email to a campaign, these guardrails are in place to ensure linked content is always kept together for your partners:

  • The linked content items are automatically added to the campaign as well as the email.
  • You'll see a warning if they remove any of the linked items from the campaign, to let you know that the remaining content is not complete.
  • Partners must review/personalize/publish all linked web content before scheduling an email for sending. They’ll see a Review task for each piece of linked content when personalizing the email.
