Note: These steps are for a Portal Post that links to its content (has a Content URL, or was created with Create Post > External Link). If your post includes its content, see Copy a Portal Post with Content.

If you are creating multiple, similar Portal Posts, such as an update for different Partner Groups or multiple product-specific announcements, it may be helpful for you to copy your original post.

When you copy a post, the details and any available translations are copied. The copied post includes the same Content URL as the original.

To copy a Portal Post, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Partner Portal > Posts.
  2. Click on the Post you’d like to copy, to open it.
  3. Click Options and select Copy from the dropdown menu.

A copy of the original post is generated, with the name Copy of <existing post name>.

  4. Make changes to the details of this new post. Ensure that you change the Internal Name (title) to something unique.
  5. [Optional, if enabled] Click the language selector and add translations, or make changes to any existing translations, as required. For more information about translations, see Translate a Portal Post.
  6. Click Save.
