Custom Field Types

Maximum number of characters: 255 (longer values will be truncated)

When configuring the field, you can add a Data Validation rule to specify that the user must enter an email address or a value of a specified length. For more information, see Add Data Validation Rules to a Field.

The user can expand the field using the drag control in the bottom right corner.

When configuring the field, you can add a Data Validation rule to specify that the user must enter a value that's within a specified range. For more information, see Add Data Validation Rules to a Field.

A date entry field - the user can use the calendar picker to select the date and add it in the required format.

When configuring the field, you can choose one of these default values:

• Today - the current date for the user completing the form
• Select a date - any date in the future (Unifyr will generate an error if you try to enter a date in the past)

A list of values - the user can select one or more values.

Enter the values for the list in the Field Values area.

A bulleted list of values - the user can select one value.

A dropdown list of values - the user can select one value.

A dropdown list of values - the user can select one or more values, using CTRL+click (PC) or CMD+click (Mac) to select multiple.

A rich text editor for formatted text, which can include links, lists, tables, quotes, and other information.

There is no limit to the amount of content you can add to this field. Be aware of page layout and website design guidelines when deciding what to include.

Available when creating a Custom Partner Field or a Custom Field for use in a Custom Object (custom information type).

An option for the user to attach a file to their submission of the custom information - they can enter the URL to the file, or click Upload to browse and select it from their desktop.

Accepted file types: doc, docx, txt, csv, bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, xls, xlsx, pdf, ppt, pptx, ods, odt, odp, odg, ics, rtf, mp4, svg

Available when creating a Custom Field for use in a Custom Object (custom information type).
