Defining Variables for an App Module

When configuring an App Module, you can record any variables that will be referenced in your Data Connector or Component code.

1. Navigate to   > Settings > App Modules.
2. Find the required App Module in the list, and click on it to open it.

3. Click Modify App Module Settings.

   

4. Enter the variables you want to use in these fields:

   • Global Variables - variables you want to make available to all components in the App Module
   • Test Variables - variables to be populated with actual data when you’re testing your data connection. For example, you may need to use a valid username.

   List each variable in a separate row in the fields, using valid JavaScript code.

   

5. Click Save.
