You can add sub-pages to a web content object. For example, if you’ve gated content behind a contact form in a landing page, you'll want a confirmation page to be shown when the contact has completed the form. The confirmation page might include the button for the contact to download the content.
Once you've set up the sub-pages, you can use Special links to define the path users will take to navigate between them. For more information, see Linking to the Other Pages in a Web Content Object.
To add a custom page to a web content object:
- Navigate to Partner Marketing > Web Content.
- Find the Web content object to which you want to add a sub-page, and click on it to open it for edit.
- Click Edit Content.
-
Click the down arrow next to the Page entry, in the top toolbar. There is already one page listed - Default. This represents the main page. You can rename it if required.
- Click + New.
-
Choose a template for the confirmation page.
The Choose Template window contains a library of Unifyr's common email templates (Default), and any legacy templates (Legacy).
If you’ve saved your own templates, they’re available in the Saved tab of the window. For more information, see Saving a Web Content Object as a Local Template.
If you don’t want to use a template, and want to create the content of the sub-page from scratch, click the X button in the top right of the window. You can also select the Blank template from the Default tab.
-
Update the label of the confirmation page by clicking into the field that is named Untitled Page as a default, and choose Rename. Add the label you want to use, then click out of the field. Click Save to retain the new page name.
Best Practice
Use names that clearly identify the individual pages, for example Landing Page and Confirmation Page.
-
Add or edit content using the Content, Rows, and Settings menus. We recommend starting with the Settings tab to set your global preferences first. Once you set global settings, you can change the settings of each content block individually as you add them.
For more information about the blocks and properties available in the menus, see Content/Formatting/Display Options for Supplier-Created Marketing Content.
- Click Save or Save and Close when you’ve completed the sub-page’s content.
Once you've added a sub-page to web content object you can duplicate it to create further pages. This allows you to easily maintain a standardized format for all sub-pages.
Go to the page switcher area for a page, and select the page you want to copy. Click Copy in the drop down menu. The duplicated page is added to the list in the page switcher, with the name <original page name> (Copy). You can rename as required.
