Can I require my partners to login to the partner portal to access a collateral library asset that is linked to a to-partner communication?

Yes, this is possible. Follow the steps below:

1. When you are creating an asset or editing the details of an asset, select the Prevent Sharing option. When this option is set, anyone accessing the asset's URL will need to login to your partner portal to view the asset. The logged in user can't share the asset from the portal but they can download it for their own use. Once a user has clicked a link to the content, the link is valid for 5 minutes.

   

2. Click Save.

3. To distribute the URL to partners, go to the asset's Details view. On the right-hand sidebar, right click on the View link for Published URL and select Copy link address.

   

   When the Prevent Sharing option is set for the asset, the URL is generated to ensure that users can only get the asset if they log into your portal.

4. Use the URL as required, for example to link from your desired email or landing page.

   Warning

   This functionality will not work if the URL contains ‘https://static.ziftsolutions.com/’. It must contain your Unifyr site name. We recommend that you copy the URL as shown in the step above and copy/paste it directly into your email/landing page field.
