A Recipe defines the workflow that extracts and transfers data records between Unifyr and a connected application.
To view the details of a recipe, go to one of these locations in the Projects tab of > Settings > Integrations > iPaaS:

-
Projects > supplier-specific project, e.g. ZiftONE to Salesforce > data type, e.g. Deals & Opportunities - this shows the Recipes being used to extract and transfer this type of data in this particular integration project
For full information about the contents of a recipe, and how they work, see the Workato Platform documentation.

The configuration of the Recipe.
The Recipe is either a single standalone piece, or is set up in a Parent-Child relationship. The configuration differs between Parent and Child recipes:
-
Parent - the configuration usually defines the records that will be pulled, i.e. those that have changed since the last sync:
- The object being synced in the target app
- The fields to be retrieved
- The SOQL query that’s identifying and filtering the data - click on the Trigger that identifies the condition to watch for (e.g. New/updated accounts in Salesforce). In the details of the trigger, view the SOQL WHERE clause that states the configured criteria.
-
Child (or standalone) - the configuration defines the workflow for the Recipe:
- Triggers and Actions
- Conditional steps that check for things like missing or invalid values
- Field mappings for data sync - click on a Create or Update step in the recipe to view the mappings being used
Click in any of the steps to see the granular details of each.
The jobs (data transfers) that have run from the Recipe. By default, the past 30 days' worth of information is displayed, and jobs of all types/statuses. You can adjust the visibility with the filters at the top of the page.
Jobs are displayed in PDC (UTC-7) time.
You can re-run jobs from here, for example if you’ve fixed an error and want to try the job again. Click the box to the left of the job or jobs to be re-rerun, then click Repeat job(s).
To export a CSV report of the Jobs list, choose … > Export job report.
The authorization/authentication asset being used for the Recipe, and its details.
A version history of the Recipe.
Each version indicates the user that created the version, and shows any comments they left with their update.
You can compare recipe versions here - click the box to the left of the job or jobs you want to compare, then click Compare versions.
