The Logs tab in the   > Integrations > iPaaS page provides audit logs of the Jobs (data transfers) running in your Workato integration.

For more information on using the logs, see Workato platform documentation (this is an external site, we have no responsibility for its content).

As a default, the page shows logs, from all Recipes, for the past hour. You can change it to show information for the past 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, or provide a custom date range.

Click on the Period filter to set your date range.

Logs of all types and levels are shown as a default - use the Log type and Log level filters to choose a specific type to display:

  • Log Type - From Jobs or Triggers
  • Log Level - INFO, WARN, ERROR, DEBUG

You can choose to only show the logs from a particular Recipe, by searching against the Recipe ID (Filter by recipe ID).

You can also add further filter options to the bar, by clicking the + and choosing one of these:

  • Job ID
  • Step number

Click on one of the logs in the list to access its details.

The log gives a message summarizing the log, the Job or Trigger it’s reporting on, and some additional information such as an error message. The example above shows an error when importing a Partner User, as the email address is invalid.

Clicking on the Recipe or Job ID links in the log details will take you to the item in question.

If the log represents an error, this helps you review the Recipe or Job to see if updates need to be made.

Clicking on the Input tab for the failed Job displays the record that is causing the error. When you have this information, you can review the record in the source or target application and make updates as necessary. You can manually re-run the job if required - for more information, see Jobs.
