If you have an iPaaS integration with Workato set up on your system, there are a few areas in which you can check the configuration if it runs into problems.
Note - this article contains some basic tips for reviewing/troubleshooting an integration but it is not a comprehensive guide. Every implementation is different. We recommend you visit Workato platform documentation for detailed information on the configuration, assets, and steps in a Workato iPaaS workflow (this is an external site, we have no responsibility for its content).
Viewing logs
You can view audit logs of the Jobs (data transfers) running in your Workato integration. The logs include information on each Job run from an active integration project. If the job is showing an ERROR log, you can get more information about the issue. For more information, see Viewing Logs about Workato Recipes/Jobs.
Common errors
Sometimes, an error is logged as 400: Bad Request with no details. This may mean that it results from a temporary issue. If this occurs, trying repeating the Job that shows the error and review again once complete. For more information, see Jobs.
Here are some tips for investigating common issues reported when syncing data:
Unifyr > CRM
- In most cases, update or creation of end customers does not occur outside of deals when syncing from Unifyr - a separate End Customer project will not appear.
- If a deal record is missing from the CRM following a sync, check these possible causes:
- The deal has not met the sync criteria, for example it is not at a status that is configured in the criteria for triggering the sync. For information about checking the sync criteria, see Recipe.
- The partner submitting the deal does not have a CRM External Account ID present in the SSO Company ID field in their Partner Profile in Unifyr Admin. This is required.
- End Customer account creation or update has errored. Capture the Unifyr End Customer ID and search for a Job with that ID in the recipe that generates the sync. For more information, see Jobs. Once the error has been corrected, you can repeat the job.
CRM > Unifyr
- If a data record is missing from Unifyr after a sync, capture the CRM ID and search for a Job with that ID in the recipe that generates the sync. For more information, see Jobs. If there are no results for the ID, it's most likely that the record has not met the criteria for being included in the sync. Compare the data record and the sync criteria for the recipe. For more information, see Recipe.
